Hey Guys!

I'm not gone! Not at all!
I'll be back after my house is finished.
As some of you may know I've bought a shiny new house.
It's not done yet. But we're getting there.
It's really a bungalow that was once designed for the elderly. So it's really practical and in a quiet environment. Just like I like it.
Since my hobby takes up quite some space and since I'm moving heavy devices around quite a lot, I figured I'd need a decent pair of stairs. My studio is next to my living room, because I'll be there most of the time anyway. The bedroom will be a storage room with a flight of stairs.
As I haven't got that much money we'll be doing most of it ourselves. Well, all of it really. Main projects are the stairs (my dad actually made them by hand, which is absolutely mindblowing). We actually had to rebuild a bit of the floor construction because if we'd just put a hole in the upper floor, the whole house would fall to pieces. Literally. Then there's the project of making a wall on the upper floor as I will use it as an attic, partly, and as my bedroom. Then there's going to be some windows in the roof because I want to have some sunlight in my bedroom. That's quite something too. And oh yeah, then there's the roof over my terrace. I'm sure there's an easier word for that, but you get what I mean.

Eitherway, I've made a very simple website on which I post pictures and video's of us working. You will notice that I don't work a lot. But that's because I'm just nog very good at this kind of thing. I'm so happy my friends are and that they are willing to help. I make coffee, get supplies, buy food, bake hamburgers and take pictures. They're fine with that. I really felt guilty when we started, but I'm getting used to this business.
