I should make up a table in photoshop of the colours I see letters as.

I don't think it's anything to be jealous of, as it's a pretty trivial thing, but I did only recently find out that not everybody senses it.

I'm also curious to know if this forum (being full of music listeners) shows a higher percentage of synesthesites* than average.

*I made this word up.

Here, this is an approximation of how I see the alphabet, and even then, it's not quite right. It's hard to pick out the exact shades on my monitor with the glare on the computer, and some of these don't feel right to me, are a bit off, but it's accurate enough to give you an idea.



EDIT: Furthermore, a circle is yellow, a square blue, and a triangle green.

It occurred to me today that perhaps people who see auras are actually experiencing a strong colour-synesthesia, associating colours with people. Perhaps it's not a literal viewing of colours, but a sensing of them, the same way London "feels blue".

i don't have synesthesia

i did, however, try to associate colours with notes and chords, as you can get better pitch that way

never succeeded, though
