I have been hooked on so much ****, but never more than one or two things at a time. Started with over the counter sleep med. and slowly increased the dosage. I even started cutting myself. Then, when I was taking up around 30 pills, I decided to move to something stronger. Just kept taking progressively harder stuff that would make my mind stop for awhile. (I was dealing with bad **** at the time.) Last thing I was taking was Heroin. I didn't eat, just slept. I was down to 108 lbs. (I was 17, 6' tall). I was almost dead. Two close friends helped me through it and helped get me clean. I've been clean for 2 years on March 2.

Grats to you on your upcoming 2-years-sober anniversary

I quit smoking, I think it was in January 2005 or so. Or was it 2004? I started when I was 14 and smoked until I was 22 or so. I'm one of the most stubborn fuckers I know so as a feat of willpower, it wasn't hard. Yet, I loved to smoke and I still do .. I miss it and sometimes, I still smoke in my dreams. I never tried to kid myself into believing that I don't like smoking. By being firmly aware of how great I think it is, I always figured cutting down over time or allowing myself to smoke only at parties would only give me so many opportunities to start smoking more again so cold turkey and never again really seemed the best way to do it. I would advise other quitters to do the same.

I'm addicted to nicotine. I usually smoke during the day, and use an E-Cigarette at night when I'm at the house.

I wouldn't say I'm addicted to alcohol, but on the weekends i usually kill 12 beers.

I used to smoke a **** load of weed and do a lot of ecstasy. Dont think I was addicted, though. Maybe a little addicted to weed. It was very easy to overcome
