I often succomb to compulsions such as oral picking, excessive blinking, and (for lack of a better term) symmetrical touching.

The farthest back I can remember having obsessive compulsions is probably when I was around 5 or 6. I would always whisper to myself what I had just said aloud after I spoke to make sure that it sounded right, and I still do that to this day.
I sorta have that same thing.
Except my obsessiveness is mostly centered on what I'm into at the moment, and it's always fluctuating.

For instance, I watched the entire Sopranos catalog in a matter of a week. Meanwhile, I neglected housework...
But afterwards, I could not stop cleaning.

When I was younger, I used to feel an uncontrollable urge to not let my eyelashes touch one another. Like, when I blinked, it felt like they were tangled, and I used to have to open my eyes wide to undo it. After a while, it just became this thing that I did. Even to this day, I feel like if I do it too much, I'll get addicted to doing it. So I avoid it.

I'm addicted to doing nothing, I love sleeping all day and I haven't done anything productive in a year. I'm too busy sleeping and telling people to fuck off.

I really feel ****ty for this, but if there was an "all of the above" option, I'd be more honest than ticking off one of the boxes.

I am pleased to say that my only major dependance right now is on nicotine, and alcohol to a lesser extent. I do smoke pot at least five times a week, but I really don't care if I'm without it; it's usually the people I'm hanging with.

One and six and both have got me into trouble.

Or both have been disappointing in their results

My first addiction was alcohol, which a stint in rehab helped me beat. I'm now able to drink at will thankfully.

I've been addicted to pain killers, which was only beaten due to a lack of supply and funding on my part.

Did Benzo's and downers, but that got old.

Psychadellics/Disassociatives were my favorites, but I wouldn't call that period an addiction really.

No addictions at the moment.

I'm addicted to codeine. It's been 4 years now. Kidneys are fine. Working on only taking them when absolutely necessary but it's a slow process.

I've been close to overdose due to combining with panadol twice.

Pretty sure I'm physically addicted to chew and smokes, if I don't have any I feel pissy as hell.

I'm also probably semi-mentally addicted to pot, I smoke pretty much everyday and I always think, this would be so much better stoned.

same here as well

and don't bother with patches or gum, after their effect wears off, your smoking goes up double - i've been on them

my other addiction is the internet, i get frustrated and agitated when i can't get online

I was addicted to Ativan when I was suffering from anxiety when I was younger.

I guess you could say coffee too, although not for the caffeine. I can go without coffee without a hitch, but I'm more addicted to the taste.
