What are the laws where you live?
 

I am interested in how we are all governed in different ways.So i want to know how old you have to be where you live to do these things i have started for what is the law across the UK.I am particulaly interested in the differefence between the states in the USA.

Voting. 18
Driving 17
Alcohol 18 in a bar ( the actual law allows 5 year olds to drink in the home!!)
Sex 16
Tattoo's 18

Most of these are going to be the same for us in the US.

Voting: 18
Driving: 16 (here in Connecticut)
Alcohol: 21
Sex: 16 or 18 (I forget :D)
Tattoo's: 18

You dont want to forget that sex one!!! Could end up in trouble!!

Yeah, but I'm almost 20 and I'm not into anyone under 18 anyway, so I feel that I'm safe. ;)

Driving: 16 (but only with a parent for 6 months after getting your license)
Alcohol: 21
Sex: 16 is "legal", so two people under 16 can have sex, and two people over 16 can have sex, but not a person under 16 and a person over 16
Tattoo: Any age, but parent's permission necessary if you're under 18

Sex is 18 and under or 18 and over, none of that mixing bologna. (at least in TEXAS)
Piercing: 18
Tobacco: 18
Pornography: 18

What about g.a.y. sex? 18 here isn't it, didn't they change the law some years ago in the UK?

It was 21 in the uk and now it is 18.They did try to reduce it to 16 but couldn't get it up.
