Thought the lead singer of Sublime was Latino, thought that one Backstreet Boys song said "With a whiff of you" instead of "With or without you." Thought that Godzilla was a great movie. Thought that the United States was cool. Thought that a 1997 Ford Escort was the nicest car I'd ever seen in my entire life.

I used to think that the sky was red at sunset because the sun was moving through the atmosphere and burning oxygen particles.

Also, thanks to a mishap where my mom left the TV on one night a little longer than she should have, I thought women were impregnated anally until I was about 10.

You were a deep thinker as a kid. I played with GI Joes and played kickball and you were thinking about burning oxygen particles.

I thought that watching the Power Rangers automatically made me a ninja afterwards.

I think we all did. And I don't think any of us have ever really stopped believing it either.

Of course. Just like when I watch Food Network and feel like cooking a Thanksgiving dinner in the middle of the night, or watch Man vs. Wild and think I could survive in the woods with just a pocket knife and a rubber band.
