Writer's Block

Um. So I don't know which place is best suited for this topic so I figure it'll get moved if need be. So I'm on tumblr and this quote pops up:

So if I can’t write, if I’m stuck, it’s because I’m trying to figure something out. The other thing is my husband, who is a doctor, goes to work every single day, and he doesn’t get ‘doctor’s block’. He doesn’t just say, “I don’t have any idea what this patient has, and I’m just gonna go home and lie on the couch and stare at the ceiling and eat popcorn.” Which is what writers do. It’s like we have this built-in ‘Get Out of Jail Free’ card going called Writer’s Block. But if you work, you just work, and sooner or later, you’ll get through it.”

I'm not sure how I feel about this. Indifferent, I suppose. But I think that using a doctor as an example isn't that fair, I mean, when you're a doctor you're educated for specifically that career. Hmm, I don't know.
