Comedy Album Thing
So basically, I want to record a stand-up album. But... I'm lazy. I don't really have strong ambition to be a stand-up comedian and don't feel like spending years playing clubs and bars and making myself a complete nervous wreck. I do like to have fun, however. And making music is boring the pants off of me lately.
So I figured I'd just record it, but then it'd probably sound stupid without any audience and I didn't want to be REALLY pathetic and add sitcom laughter in there. So I wanted to have a sort of virtual audience I guess. Here's my idea. I record it. I give it to you, you record yourself listening to it and laughing. If you don't find it funny, you don't have to laugh, just laugh at what you genuinely find funny (you can even heckle if you want, I'll play around with it later). If I get enough people to record their reactions, I can play with it and BOOM, a real, dynamic audience. This is all for fun, and I want to see how good I am at this. Anyone wanna participate? |

Is your comedy act going to be anything like Michael Richards'? |

So I want to record it and just edit out the bits that don't really work. Yes. |
