Default Wii Help, Please?

I have an LCD TV, in addition to a Nintendo Wii. When I first got the Wii, I had a cousin of mine hook it up to my LCD TV, and there were no problems.

Now, I'm trying to go to Netflix instant, and suddenly everything is black and white and poor quality. WTF.

I know that my grandmother came over and rearranged my living room for no discernible reason, but I can't see that there's anything missing. It was seriously working just find, and as far as I can tell, didn't have an adapter.

Does anyone know what I could possibly do before I go insane and throw the stupid thing out the window?!

I can't watch Netflix under these conditions.

I had this before with a playstation two and the solution was this, the cable going from the tv to the playstation had a little box in the middle with a switch and we just switched the switch to the other setting and perfecto.

Probably doesnt help I know but all i could think of.

Did you make sure none of the cords are loose? Also, did you make sure the Wii is plugged into the correct red/white/yellow jacks as opposed to the s-video jacks?

I did. And then I checked again, and apparently my jostling things about had partially dislodged one of the cords.

I feel dumb now.

Thanks though! At least now I can watch Netflix in peace.

I'm pretty sure that, if you're using the supplied scart cable, this wasn't in properly.
It gets disconnected really easily and it can cause loss of colour, loss of just one colour, loss of sound, the lot
