Err... no? How did you come up with that? :D

i don't know. i mean, if you download a video from the internet, there's a possiblity that you've also downloaded a virus or something and it's just sitting there in your folder along with the video and suddenly , it may attack your computer the least you expect it. i'm not really a computer science major but i think it's possible.

Oh like that. Well most of the times when you download a virus you don't really download a video. When it's a real video file (like an avi or mpg of wmv) and it doesn't start asking strange questions but just plays when you want it to play, you're safe.
Apart from that; Virus scanners :D

i've also been told that there's an "anti-virus" virus..is this even true?

s_k 05-20-2011 03:24 AM

what, you mean like a virus that pretends to be an anti-virus but is really a virus?

Farfisa 05-20-2011 03:38 AM

Rogue anti-virus/spyware programs? Only an idiot can get a real anti-spyware/virus program and a fake one confused.

Some people click EVERYTHING

There's an acer (pukes a little) aspire 7720z (pukes a bit more) running windows Vista home Premium (runs to the bathroom) next to me. It's so ****ing full of crap you won't believe it. Some people get EVERYTHING done. Just click next next next, don't read and you'll get this. Anyway, it's up and running again. Won't be reinstalling it as I don't trust that hard drive
clickety
click
click
clickety
No good.

Your porn collection is not just a accumulation of porn. It's like your child. It grows and changes. It's horizons expand. All under your benevolent tutelage. If I had a choice between saving you and my porn collection...well, stay away from cliffs and meteors.
