I always have a positive attitude, I am a very friendly and social person, i think I'm pretty funny, I am proud of the music i write, and I am non-judgemental.

I give a fuck, but I'm very good at convincing myself that I don't.

Aww fuck. I failed. I give a fuck. :(

Self delusion in an attempt to counteract a personal emotion about a particular situation! Nice!!!

I envy that.

Edit:
For me, if there IS a silver lining, I'll see it immediately. But if I actually have to search for it, chances are, it's not really there.

I may have not made an edit?

Or are you talking about something else?
I'll assume the latter.

Anyway, I don't think self delusion is really such a bad thing. I mean, if it makes you happy, it's really the only thing that matters. The only problem that can possibly arise from it is that the delusion doesn't jive with someone else's delusion. We're all deluded. It's as simple as that. We can either live for our own delusions and love them, or compare ours to someone else's and hate them. Having the same delusions as everyone else only means you're more functional in regard to it. But if you don't care about that, as long as you're in an environment that doesn't require some kind of semblance of unification, then you're free to think the way you want. The only flack you'd get from doing otherwise would either be legal, or societal. That's it.

I say, find those silver linings. I really do envy that. I'm a horrid cynic.
