crystal meth is an amphetamine and phenethylamine (aka release agent, commonly found in chocolate) in the psychostimulant class that affects the central nervous system. created in 1893 in japan by nagai nagayoshi as ephedrine. it has had much use in last century in wars, especially ww2.
nowadays crystal is a designer drug, manufactured by crackpot chemists all over the world, which is the scary part to it going boom and the poisonous fumes. theres 4 ways it can be used: sniffing, smoking, iv and believe it or not sticking it up your bum. in the us it is a schedule 1 drug with a hefty prison sentence.
in my experience the true effects of crystal are these...
paranoia
insomnia
skin picking
loss of nasal cavity
bizarre superman behavior
hypertension
hypotension
tremors
stroke
death
