Nope. Most people don't like silence. Awkward times. But I am usually the exact opposite, which also doesn't work. Then again, I rarely do anything to attract anyone to me. I generally have a good laugh, at the expense of my own pride if it seems necessary to lift the mood.
Only when you are at a party do you realise that most people seem to insist upon having a bad time, unless there's one clown they can mutually laugh along with. That's me.

Yeah, but I never do it in a way that suggests I want to "get with" anyone, so I feel as though that doesn't scare away the ladies. Either way, I am not really that fussed how people view me on first impact, because I always end up being the main protagonist in all fun times.

In 7th grade I joined the science fair because a girl I was crushing on was doing it. Big mistake, it was a crapload of work for something I had absolutely zero interest in. |

So my advice is keep those gums a-flapping. When it became clear it wasn't going anywhere, I did mention that Michael Bay movies are for ****ing morons that I'd leave in a burning house to save a pig, so I guess that was slightly redeeming. Last edited by Wayfarer; 02-18-2012 at 11:31 AM. |

If you're not naturally talkative I wouldn't try and force it, I wouldn't call myself socially awkward, it just takes a while for me to open up to people and some people do misconstrue that as me being cold, but it's the more friendly ones that end up getting to know me and they're the ones I like so it all works out. If anyone is going to jump on me in a shorter time frame than that it probably won't work out anyway.

the only time somebody was mad at me was a father of a girl i was hitting on, whom i din't know was only 15 (those days I was only 17) |
