yep that's why many people fail their diets and end up hating themselves. It's better to change your eating habits and just practice portion control than it is to get into a fad diet when you end up either eating too much in one area or taking one area out.

Well, I think people need to understand the difference between "a diet" and "diet". Diet is what you eat. A diet is what you eat for a short period of time.

The problem with "a diet" is it assumes you can just eat (X) for (Y) period, lose (Q) weight, and then go back to what you were eating before.... and maintain the weight loss. This doesn't work.

At best all that will do is get you a constantly fluctuating waist size, and your GTI tract will be going through hell due to constant, dramatic shifts in diet.

Alright well i am too lazy to start a blog about my summer diet/workouts, especially considering it will go unread, so i'm just gonna post comments or whatever in this thread.

Day 3 of Keto... Very constipated. Fuck, I can't evne muster out a fart half the time. I feel grumbling in my stomach and hit the bathroom and it feels like my brown trout is about 3 times too big for my ass. The pains of eating lots of cheese.

Right now, I've mainly been on the routine of eating 4 eggs with cheese in the morning. Throughout the day, snacking on spicy chipotle peanuts, mozzarella string cheese sticks, and deli turkey. Lunch I usually eat cheese dogs and dip them in mustard or sour cream (i should find something better than hot dogs). For dinner, usually herring fillets and i melt some cheese over them. I plan on grilling a bunch of burgers on my day off tuesday so i cna microwave them through the weakl at my convenience. None of my beverages have any calories.

-Also, I've lost like 5 pounds because of water weight. I'm eating like 1,000 calories under my maintenance calories a day. I think I look thinner in the stomach and chest but it might be subconscious. Tomorrow I'm going to start my workout routine, the last few days has just been lifting at random times because of my work schedule.

Well put. I have never seen a diet (in the temporary sense of the word) work for anyone, outside of wrestlers/fighters. Same with exercise. Longterm healthy eating and exercise is the only thing that will ever work for healthy living.

Jeeze, no wonder you're constipated. You need to have the majority of your carbs coming from vegetables. Leafy greens are low carb and good with fiber. Just wilt them in hot grease.

celery or carrots. You gotta drown them in Ranch dressing though and then roll them in parmesan cheese to make them edible. Which defeats the purpose of healthy.

Try nuts.

Almonds, pecans, cashews, peanuts.

any of those.

They will stop your hunger pains and drink some water and it'll hold you over til dinner.

They also have good fats for your body.
