hey, i need some help...

i'm trying to get my avatar and signature, but i don't know how to get my avatar on here, cos there is a button that says "do not use avatar" and i can't click it off. as for my sig, it says on the bottom mof my screen "img code is off" so yea im really lost , can someone help out???
