Not a musician, but I'd like to RIP poor Vicky White, the 56-year-old "exemplary employee" of a corrections institute who conspired to "spring" an inmate from jail.
They didn't even last two weeks on the run, and now she has died, just like a character in a movie; the ordinary innocent caught up in a world she's not fit for, and being (as so often happens in the movies) the one to die first.

Terrible for Nick Cave, especially as it seems he only had a mere 22 years with his son. An awful tragedy, though it looks like it had been coming.

Lisna, not so sure about yours? This woman conspired to free an inmate, went on the run, endangering the public, and then when cornered shot herself. What's to be sympathetic about? Am I missing something, or is this just your innate goodness which would RIP an ant you happened to stand on, or Osama Bin Laden (a bit too big to tread on, but you get my drift)...

Yeah, can't say that I think Vicky White was "innocent" or "ordinary" by any means. Play stupid games and win stupid prizes. Some of the news outlets are floating the idea or possibility that it was the inmate that shot her and not suicide - still, even if that's the case, can't say that opens up my wellspring of sympathy. What did she expect to happen when she went on the run with a convicted killer? Flee to Canada or Mexico and live happily ever after?

Shivkumar Sharma

Another musician we've lost to kidney disease in the past couple of weeks.
Absolutely amazing performer and one of my very favorite musicians who
I've been lucky to see a number of times - at least twice with Hariprasad Chaurasia
with one of those times accompanied by Alla Rakha and another by Zakir Hussain.
Incredible highlights of my life. Didn't realize he was 84. Great life in music.

I do sympathize with her because she was looking for true love
