My GF's aunt lost her Covid battle yesterday. She spent five months on a ventilator and/or tracheotomy tube. She was not conscious for most of it. The last time we saw her was her birthday. A week later she was in the hospital with Covid. Now she's gone.

I want out of this hell.

Thanks. I didn't know her very well as she lived far away but she was a sweet woman and nobody deserves what she went through.

TH, I got the first dose in me as of a week ago. The second dose goes in on May 1st.

I'm decaff at the moment.

I get my 2nd shot Thursday morning (Moderna). Planning on doing absolutely nothing after that until Monday. Very weird first time ever feeling of looking forward to an event that, going by what I’m reading, will probably make me feel miserable for hours or days. It’s a real mindfuck.
