It's like losing a family member or someone really close to you

I have two deaths in that deep family sphere.

I remember crying so hard I couldn’t hear anything else. Staying up all night sobbing. My head hurting like hell from wailing in grief. Barely able to drink a glass of water.

No one goes through deep grief because someone they watched on TV died. Get some ****ing perspective.

Call your boss and say you need a week because a celebrity died.

I don’t want to hear it.

I didn't know this guy, don't even know who he is, but I can respect that his death has hit some members here particularly hard. Hawk should also respect that, but I guess you can't expect miracles. The most we can hope is that he gets bored and moves on to something else, like questioning my sexuality or raging about some humanitarian disaster in a place nobody but him cares about.

Or that he falls asleep early.

I did, my parents got him not long after I was born so I grew up with him and was 18 when he died. He was cool.
