^ You used to have a radio show !! You are full of surprises, rostasi - but that helps explain why you have been on visiting terms with so many well-known musicians. So for you, Plug must be a "busman's holiday", as they used to say.

Yes, I have Expresso Two too! I just love the unusual sound of the percussive stuff, though for me this Moondog album wins the prize in that department:-




@ Janszoon: "Grides" is a good live album from the early line-up at it's peak. From the same year, 1970, the version of Facelift on "Third" is a standout track.
From later, more mellow years, "Six" and "Seven" are both good too.
(I´m avoiding, you'll notice, all those Holdsworth-type pyrotechnics )

Had it for 13 years - mostly in Chicago. Went back to doing one for a station in New Mexico beginning last July.
Moondog is always fun. Saw him performing in the street decades ago.

That's a lot of years! Were you playing a lot of obscure stuff? And fancy seeing Moondog on the streets. I wonder if you noticed him as a talented guy, or was it like, "I wish this weirdo would get out of my way?"

No, his home on the streets for many years was in New York before he moved to Münster, Germany,
but he visited Chicago and hung out under Wabash Ave downtown and entertained the masses.
I already had his music before I was a teenager, so I knew exactly who he was.

Jeez Chula man! Even I, with my ultra-annoyance of Frownland (can't say hatred, cos I don't hate him. Much..) knew that was a throwaway joke, and I find it hard to get his humour most of the time. Not sure why you're getting so upset. It's not like he insulted Holdsworth after all: in fact, he repped him pretty hard when all is said and done. Like the others say, and as has been said to me a whole lot, lighten up.

I know nothing of Holdsworth (though I have heard vaguely of him) so will just add my condolences, as he seems to have been universally revered by his peers, and you can't really get a stronger endorsement than that. RIP.

Thanks for the comments. The drums are a loop. Everything else is me, and ya, I'm nowhere near in the same league at those other guys. Still a fun hobby though.

And wasn't really angry TH. Me and Frowny have developed a nice history of pushing each other's buttons.
