I love that bit where Vyvyan is introducing Mike, Neil, and Rick to his mother and he says something like "This is my friend Mike, my friend Neil, and a complete bastard I know called Rick".

The Young Ones was such a great project. I was watching a couple episodes on youtube last night (it's been years since I've seen the full run) and just couldn't stop laughing.

It really was one of the more exceptional shows on MTV when i was a kid. I used to stay up late to catch it and my mom used to get so mad at me because she hates british humor.

My parents aren't partial to British humor either (well, not the gross-out prop comedy stuff anyway). I don't understand that. I've always found British humor to be more tactful and creative than American humor (usually).
