Apparently the best teacher I ever had, and probably one of the best men I ever knew, Major Hairr, died this year. He was like in his forties. I have no idea what the **** happened, but I was looking up his name for some reason and I came across his Facebook memorial page. I'm in the library to help me do online class ****, and I'm kind of crying openly at the moment. Whenever I got my life together I wanted to come back to Fishburne and tell him all about how good I was doing. Dude introduced me to Jay and Silent Bob and Boondock Saints and Deliverance and was just an amazing guy. **** all of this ****.
And yeah, he kept a sword in class. Like a ****ing boss! That's why you did your god damn homework in Major Hairr's class.

Oh god, I love the expression of the guy, Captain Hamner, in the background of that pic just walking in the door. He was too familiar with Major Hairr to be in the least bit surprised by walking in on that, but he just can't help but be like, "WTF?"
