H. R. Giger, Hans Rudolf "Ruedi" Giger (February 5, 1940 – May 12, 2014) Swiss painter and sculptor. Probably best known for his design work on various films (Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, among others) and his work on album art for various bands/recording artists (Emerson, Lake & Palmer: 'Brain Salad Surgery' and Dead Kennedys': 'Frankenchrist' among others.)

I wonder if this is one of the reasons people are so scared to speak out these days.

i have to say i'm surprised at the lack of comments on his death....there are a few of us here who are the late 30s/early 40s and who have been into "taboo" things and underground music for sometime.....i remember H R Giger being one of the few things that everybody agreed on....

Somehow I'm not surprised that the charges were dropped against the people who killed those students. You can pretty much do whatever the fuck you want in the name of the government. Sick, twisted people.

whats really crazy is...and i just found this out

see i was under the impression that the Governor had declared "martial law"....keep in mind that there had been days of clashes between police and protesters

but i was looking up the exact day that he declared martial law yesterday in response to your post and found out that he never did....he eluded to wanting martial law but never officially filed for it

so all these years i was under the impression that although everything that happened that day was wrong in every way....it was in a very fascist way....legal

but it wasn't.....at all in any way...four people dead, two for exercising their 1st amendment right, two for simply walking to class.....nobody punished

Yeah dude I am also quite shocked at the lack of familiarity, he's kind of a big deal. RIP for sure, and tell your friend he's a lucky cocksucking bastard haha. Mega jealous.

Linnea Eleanor "Bunny" Yeager (March 13, 1929 – May 25, 2014) American photographer and former pinup model from Miami, Florida.
