That's the quintessential late 60's hippie vibe song for me. The Youngbloods made some great music. I have a copy of their 'Elephant Mountain' LP which still gets played at least 3 to 5 times a year when the mood strikes me.

The first 2 EP's & the first 2 LP's by Gang of Four are must-haves in my opinion. Dave Allen was on all of them. Bought all 4 on vinyl when they were originally released and still have them in my collection.
