Not as much as I would've liked, though he did get me my first guitar.

We listened to this album a lot when we were together though, and I posted this song on Facebook in memoriam, and it absolutely dumped all night and day

Not for me. Apparently he was riddled with cancers but was keeping his illness to himself. He had a stroke and was sent to the hospital where he ultimately passed after a few days.

He was 73 though.

In bold: Yes, that's often our regret when someone passes. Sounds like you have some good memories though.

Freewheelin' was the first Dylan album I bought: one man, one voice, one guitar: your Grandpa made a great choice.
