Although the character of James Bond became increasingly old-fashioned over the years, I would still say Sean Connery did it best, with a dash of style only equalled by that other guy, who did the Casino Royal movie a few years back. Connery was also good in The Untouchables, I thought.

In Britain, the newspapers are taking a pretty respectful tone over his death, but they can also never resist a pun. A couple of papers have the headline, License to Thrill, while one paper hits a journalistic low-point with the line: Oh Oh Heaven.

I remember the Art Fleming era, but Trebeks stoicism really solidified the shows longevity. I have the last few episodes recorded, so I'll have to watch them all with a box of tissues now. RIP Al.
