Thanks, that was a great read! Listening to them today while working was very pleasant

Well, it wasn’t looking good a few days ago for Toots,
and now we have confirmation of his death. Of course,
the new thing is to appease the non-believers and not
be definitive that it was Covid, but, you know...
Father of the term “reggae” and a force.

Do you know if that has anything to do with why the cause of death of Gary Peacock hasn’t been released?

Also, I know you can’t even come close to defining Toots by one song but Pressure Drop is one of those very few songs that...man, it’s so powerful- it takes you over completely, physically and emotionally.

RIP

Wiki is currently saying it was covid.

Damn.

I don't know about Peacock's circumstances,
but Toots had been in a medically induced coma
for something like 3 or 4 weeks specifically due to
the virus. A few days ago, reports were saying that
things didn't look good for him and when I noticed
that he died yesterday, suddenly there was no mention
of the virus. I guess if you go past the Wiki death listings,
it will show up - somewhat. Anyway, such is life (and death).
