People die at every age, every day.

I'm surprisingly saddened by this too. I love actors who can play emotionally sensitive killers. Not many can.

Yes, of course people die every day but when you know someone around the same age and they croak it just kind of puts things into perspective.

Yes, and I was hoping to offer an even more focused perspective:
You and Everybody You Know May Die Today.

It was just a one off comment though, I'm sure she knows that. She could die tomorrow walking across the street so could I.

I won't die tomorrow though because I have **** to do Friday!!!!

I'm glad. You would be sorely missed if you die before Friday.
I meant no offense. I just wish that people could have a healthier perspective of death. It's sad, and no doubt we feel grief (I'm grieving for Tony Soprano ffs) but it will happen to us all and all of our loved ones. We can't know when and we should not presume that anybody will live to a certain age.

Famous country yodeler Slim Whitman also died today at age 90. People may know him as the secret weapon in Mars Attacks! or as the guy who sings the opening song in The Big Lebowski. There's something I always loved about his laid back style.

Thank you, Mr. Whitman, for a life well spent.

Oh, I'm generally pretty accepting of death and I have this feeling that when people I know pass on that it's not the last time I will see them. I don't say goodbye to loved ones that pass away but more like see you later. I also don't like funerals because I feel like it's more for people that can't cope with the person that has passed away and need support during their grieving period.
