Andre Previn died a few days back and didn't get a mention at all. I never explored his music tbh, but he was noticable in the media. A classical conductor/composer who cultivated a pop-celebrity presence, he was perhaps most famous for winning the heart of sixties icon Mia Farrow. It was while Previn and Farrow were married that they adopted a Vietnamese child, Soon-Yi, who went on to gain notoriety when she fell into some weird consensual/ abusive relationship with step-dad Woody Allen.
Here's Previn's most famous TV appearance:- And his best-known song, sung by wife-at-the-time, Dory Previn:- ^ Not a bad song, but who really cares about the plight of poor little rich wives popping pills in their mansions? If you decided to marry for money well, suck it up ladies.
