Stephen Hillenburg died yesterday. Dam. Lotta good memories watching SB with my kid, and I'll still turn it on once in a while on a Saturday morning.

That sucks. I watched that **** from the very first episode and would probably have a very different sense of humour if I didn't. RIP to a legend. I'mma throw on some classic episodes when I get home.

I started watching from the beginning a month or so ago cause I want to get the references my peers constantly make instead of having to be like "uhh well my parents uh never let me watch it..."

Those early seasons of Spongebob took up a good chunk of my childhood, and I still think several of those episodes hold up really well. Still waiting for the day that mayonnaise becomes an instrument. |
