ANYWAYS definitely a great loss in Ray Manzarek, I love the **** he did with X. A very talented guy who doesn't get enough attention imo. Jim Morrison was garbage in comparison.

You claimed the post in question was simply an expression of an opinion and I don't agree with that. And I don't mean for this to sound confrontational but you did just promote questioning things.

I also think I did do my job in my initial response to it. To explain exactly what in their post I believe prompted such a response and attempt to draw a line under it and avoid this conversation going around and around in circles as it has and still is. It obviously didn't work but that was my intent.

First off, you came onto a thread meant to just give a message to someone who impacted you, regardless of who it is. Which is what people were doing.

We are aware that 51 people lost their lives, and that unknown people are people as well. But to come onto a thread and say "um no"... to people who were just choosing to show their support to someone who impacted them.(remember this is *music* banter not natural disaster banter.... we will of course, show support to those who died in the music world)

You are playing this selective mourning thing, and acting as if because we do not say on here that we will mourn that 51 who died, that we are somehow being insulting to their memory. We are not.

Oh I know, that's why I excluded you from my post. You responded just how I would expect (without being rude) so that's why I said "not Neil". It does sound confrontational but you know me well enough I wasn't starting drama I think. In spite of recent events. I really was just trying to be nice to the new person. So they don't make the same mistake.

It is weak minded and pathetic. You can come on here and say RIP to them, but to derail a thread with such non-sense is disgraceful behavior. It truly is, it is sick and uncalled for.
