He was genuinely one of the nicest guys I've ever known. It was unexpected since we were under the impression that he would be ok. But I guess not.

Yeah that's how I usually think about it, but it's tough when it was someone pretty close. I'm doing alright though. Just not really thinking about it for now at least until there's a ceremony for it etc. I'm certainly glad he's not suffering anymore.

I just realized Rich Piana died last year.. I always appreciated how open he was about his drug use and the problems in the body building world.

I came across his videos last year not knowing he had died until a bit after. He was entertaining to watch.
