Jesus. Just read that it was Eric Ripert who found him dead. I can't even begin to imagine.

This one definitely hurts. Didn't think it would for me personally but I know he was one of the most welcoming and encouraging people wherever he went. Think I'll binge watch his shows tonight if I can find them.

Did you see the episode where him and Ripert went back to Les Halles and worked an entire lunch and dinner shift while being supervised by his old line cook - who kept giving Bourdain **** for not keeping up?

He ended up doing an entire episode about that guy and his struggles to make it in the USA.
