Nobody said to mourn The Doors. People are mourning the death of one of the co-founders. I didn't even know bands could die.

I don't know you. If you died tomorrow, sure I would be like "man, im sorry they died" but I wouldn't go out of my way to wonder who you were, what you were doing, or figure out the cause of death. Famous people are already in the light, so the news picks up on it very quickly making it easier for people like me to get the information.
