It's been twenty-something years since I've seen it so don't remember it in great detail, but I remember disliking Val Kilmer's performance and thinking the whole movie really fell apart toward the end. It's surprised me over the years to observe how it's come to be considered a classic by so many people.

His performance is kinda cheesy in hindsight, but I think you might want to watch it again since it's really well made imo.

A. Not drunk.

B. It is the Rest In PEACE thread afterall.

C. Kilmer's performance in Tombstone is widely considered as epic among a large number of his peers - not that anyone here will put any stock into that.

D. This is simply one of the greatest mano y mano scenes in the history of movies. Mike and I have been able to recreate this for years.

Spoiler. Don't click if you've never watched Tombstone. To me it's the highlight of the movie.

Val Kilmer with a mustache needs to be a meme.

His acting style in that movie has become kind of dated imo, there's nothing really wrong with it, things have just changed.

As I said, this thread is used as a news thread that people post links in when someone has died. I admit it was probably a bit careless of me to post that link specifically in this thread and not the news thread but this one had just been posted in so I put it here, and I thought people would be smart enough to tell it was just me posting a news article, but obviously not.

lol at telling someone to kill themselves as well.
