Had it for 13 years - mostly in Chicago. Went back to doing one for a station in New Mexico beginning last July.
Moondog is always fun. Saw him performing in the street decades ago.
Here's something from Vula Viel that you might like that's a bit like Expresso-era Gong.
(I play this in Plug pretty often too).

Had no idea that Quaker State sold oil and oatmeal.

Not to make a joke of the subject, here's the video that introduced me to Alan Holdsworth:

8:30 and onward, recorded a long time before his passing. (watch till the end if you wanna see a nice tribute Chula)

One of my favourite Youtube channels, and his taste is exemplary. I used to use this guy like a manual. I may not be an aficionado of Holdsworth's catalogue, but what I know of it is great.

That's a lot of years! Were you playing a lot of obscure stuff? And fancy seeing Moondog on the streets. I wonder if you noticed him as a talented guy, or was it like, "I wish this weirdo would get out of my way?"

^ Wonderful rec of a band I've never heard of ! Thanks
(Poor old Moondog is going to get bumped out of first place, I fear.)

Good old Dereck. Used to comment on his albums (nearly all of which I have) - usually adding suggestions.
Nice guy who says in that video: "Allan Holdsworth is my favorite guitar player. It doesn't mean he's the best. He's my favorite."

In his recent video on him, he adds something along the lines that it's not the most technical guy who's necessarily the best,
"but the one who touches me the most." Bless you Dereck.

No, his home on the streets for many years was in New York before he moved to Münster, Germany,
but he visited Chicago and hung out under Wabash Ave downtown and entertained the masses.
I already had his music before I was a teenager, so I knew exactly who he was.

Right in front of Rose Records in Chicago:
