Chula might get pretty upset about this one.
But RIP Bill Paxton.

Man, Coryell and now Paxton? Dude was so memorable in every role he played. Most recently in the Cruise flick Edge of Tomorrow.
Only actor to have been killed on screen by an Alien, a Terminator, and a Predator. RIP

Game over man
Bill Paton is a devastating blow to the film industry...i've always said the Independence Day is a great film that would have been a perfect film had they cast Bill Paxton instead of Bill Pullman what a shity way to go as well....complications during surgery i'm watching Aliens right now and will watch Frailty or Club Dread after the Oscars Aliens is seriously one of my favorite films ever made and a big part of that was due his performance as Hudson.....still to this day every time i ride a roller coaster right before the big drop i say "express elevator to hell GOING DOWN!" such a shame |

What would Bill Paxton have brought to Independence Day? And it's good to see someone with taste in film defending Independence Day. For all that it is a 90s popcorn movie, it is the epitome of 90s popcorn movies, the movie that perfected the formula and to which all other popcorn movies aspire. Pretty much every minute of it is Big Dumb Fun nirvana. No wonder popcorn movies have never been as good.
