You just said there is no downside to capitalism, did you not? Corporations are made up of unelected individuals with enough money to buy influence in politics at a level that the general populace can not hope to match. I'm for restricting the government from having the power to legislate such things in the first place. Free market, completely. No government influence whatsoever.

I cited a case from the period when laissez-faire was actually a thing. Only a moron would think that modern America (or UK) practices laissez-faire capitalism. The grass is always greener, man.
