I think it was some of those headphones that let you mute the call, turn up/down the volume, yada yada. I think it tried to communicate to the phone too many things at once. But that's just a guess.

I had been nursing an iPhone 12 for the best part of 3 years but it kept getting so hot (it was worrying) and it started ghost scrolling . I put up with that for about a month and I just got an iPhone 14 delivered.
