Oh believe me, I learned that already, living for 6 years in a single dorm room while in the military, and I had more equipment set up in it (including a full drum set) than I have here. (although I have a lot more furniture now).

My dream house would have a room for a music studio, a room for a media theater, and a room with a pool table, arcade games, a bar, and a jukebox.
Everything else would be secondary. Haha

I'm glad to have a room for my audio equipment/studio (if you can call it a studio) in my house right now. And I've got an actual attic. Works for me .

But if I had a spare room I'd probably make a game room, yeah.

Yep. I could play as loud as I wanted until 10PM, unless enough people complained, which no-one did. It was an old Nazi fortified building with solid cement walls, so not much sound got through, and the sound that did was generally enjoyed. heh... we usually had folks coming to my room to check out the jam sessions my friends and I did.

I had my half stack in there, bass amps, my drums, a small PA system with mics. It was literally band practice in a dorm-like room. On weekends we'd prop the doors and windows open while people were BBQing and jam our balls off.

God I miss that.

Yea man that sounds like a good time. Definitely help take your mind off anything you didnt want to do. I wish I lived with people that played music, and didnt have to travel to see them as all I have is a motorcycle. Its not great at carrying amps and guitars and drums
