Sorry if this had been discussed before.

I'm currently having a conversation with Evil Chuck about this, and it seems every guy I talk to lately tells me that they prefer girls to be curvy, or meaty, or womanly, over being petite.

No one seems to like thin girls? Which is a bit of a problem since all girls tend to try and be thin, or care about their weight excessively, or diet to lose extra kilos; to look better for men (though a lot of the time they claim it's for themselves, good for them for thinking that but that's partly a lie).

By thin girls, I'm talking an Australian and English size 6, which I think is an American 2 or 4.

Anyway, this is basically an open question to the gentlemen here (though, obviously ladies can participate if they want), what do you prefer?

I like thin girls. I like waiste and hips but I don't mind them to be small :).
I don't dislike curvy girls by the way. But I like thin girls :).
I should add that they can be way too tin in my opinion, they shouldn't be anorexic.

^ Basically what he said. I like girls petite/thin but not anorexic. If a girl is bigger than me then I'm a little intimidated. Although there are some curvy girls that are really hot, I prefer thin chicks by a bit.

I have a female friend who's half an inch taller than I am. She can come and live with me anytime. And I have a female friend who's really really very tiny. Same story :D.
I should add that these are the only two girls I know that I would actually want to date, so it's not like I'm just making an example. It's that length doesn't really matter to me.
The taller one is the thinnest by the way, but they both have nice bodies :)

I have always liked girls that have soft bodies, the frame size isnt too important but I like a girl who has meat on her. This doesnt mean obese girls, it means girls that have bumps in the right places (and maybe a little bit of a belly podge is alright, I cant begrudge a woman a good meal lol)

Well how tall are you? I'm 5'11 so if a girl is bigger than me she's pretty ****ing tall.

It's because they are dictated to look like that by a fashion industry made up of other women & gay men.

I'm not legal for you anyway... so don't try anything :) . Also my doctor says I'm gonna be 6 4' so maybe one day haha.

My experience has always been that the male definition of "meaty" or "curvy" is just "thin with boobs".

No. Its easy for clothing to look good on a really thin woman even if its a really crappy design. Its more difficult to make clothing that'll look good on women who are average sized and its really fucking hard to make clothing that'll look good on women that are bigger then average sized.

She is what I mean by meaty. And its made even better by the fact that cooks, and appears to love food as well.

Yeah, she's like, average.

She's really proportionate, she's got a tummy but she's got huge knockers and an ass. Hourglass shape. Not everybody's built like that.

Its not really the body shape I was referring to, more the fact that there is a lot of substance on her frame. You know that she isnt going to be showing boney bits anywhere, the skeleton is generally going to be well covered :D

Even if you prefer Christina Hendricks to Heidi Klum or whatever, it's still a mainstream definition of beauty.

I've never been a fan of the word "curvy." I pretty much associate that word with being used by fat girls who are in denial and label themselves as curvy. I love a nice ass. She's gotta be able to fill out dem jeans with dat ass. I dont mind a few extra pounds...key word "few." Upstairs in the chest department, as long as she doesn't have mosquito bites, I don't care much. I'm more of an ass guy, so whatever.

What does that matter whether its a mainstream definition of beauty?

Because I don't find fat and/or hairy women attractive am I a bad person or something?

That's 5'10 so you're about an inch shorter than me. I guess I don't see very many tall girls around here, most girls around here are around 160 to 170 cm, so I'm not used to looking up at tall girls haha.

I do find alot of thin women appealing, but in general I prefer curvy women. As for height, I'm basically indifferent to it.

It all depends on how much ive had to drink really. Beer goggles have been helping ugly and fat people get layed for years now.

To me, petite women are good to be made girlfriends and wives.
Girls with meat are generally more fun in the sack, I guess I love skinny chicks, and lust the curvy girls.

Well I'm a petite woman but recently put on +5kg and have much larger breasts and just a bit of pudge on the stomach. I think I am finally at a great weight (used to be super thin) but really want to tone my tum. I find guys are generally really attracted to me but I can never figure out if my pudge bothers them or.

My x was really petite as well but had a small pudge around her mid section. It was from her having kids and I did not mind.

This has been said a million times... but Lary the Cable guy really is one of the worst popular comedians of all time. I watched that whole video and didn't laugh once. And this is coming from someone who loves dumb humor.

Really? Your not a fan? I know the whole dumb redneck thing has kind of ran its course but I thought his stuff was pretty comical. Probally because a lot of the stuff he says is actually the mentality of people I know or have met. He's being funny but what makes it funny is knowing there are people out there that actually act like that. Without trying to be funny. Its not for everyone I guess.

I live in Alberta, Trailer Park Boys is my favourite show, and Gummo and Fubar are some of my favourite movies. I love movies that deal with hicks because I can relate to some of the situations. My family isn't exactly white trash, but we're not exactly rich either. I am basically the target market for his comedy, but he is just straight up not funny.

Never seen trailer park boys so I coudnt say if I like it or not. I like Larrys's stand up though always have.

Such a great show.

I'm with uglyorgan on this one though, I just really don't find him funny. Different strokes for different folks though.
