You see, people have the ability to change their weights. They can exercise and diet. More than just looking good, it's a good signal to someone else that they take care of themselves and want to be healthy. Can't really change your height without taking some kind of crazy and extreme measure.

So basically Aurora has more reason to be picky about a man's height than DJ has reason to be picky about a woman's weight. Gotcha.

Yep, on second thought I realized you were inadvertently bolstering my case so I changed my response.

Pretty simple really. Aurora and DJ both have sets of physical attributes they're looking for in a mate. As you pointed out, short guys aren't going to get any taller. So why would Aurora want to date one of them? DJ, on the other hand, is looking for physical attributes that are malleable. He doesn't really have to rule anyone out on that basis since it's something they can always change about themselves.
