Eh. I've been single for every Valentine's Day, but I'm not one of those people who are like "FUCK YOU IF YOU AREN'T SINGLE", or "I don't need a day to tell the people I love that I love them". Blah blah blooben. I'll just be kind of upset, but I can cope. At least on Tuesday there will be candy on clearance.

That's actually the best part of valentines day. All the chocolate that's 50% off the next day :D

It doesn't matter to me about tomorrow. I'm not really a holiday or special day person. They'd be different if I had kids for sure.

Strangely enough I'm both married and spending Valentine's Day by myself.

I don't get to spend the real thing with my boyfriend tomorrow, that's my only real yank. We did celebrate it today, kind of, he bought me a bunch of Godiva chocolate and I made him a cake. I don't really care all that much though, but chocolate is nice :D

I used to fall into the trap of worrying about my love life on St. Valentine`s Day, but here in Mexico, the whole "Am-I-in-a-relationship?" dilemma has been diffused by making Feb 14 a day of Love and Friendship.
At a stroke they`ve made it much more inclusive, because you don`t have to be some smug lover to join in; instead, children of all ages exchange candies at school, and it`s an excuse to hug your workmates too.

In that spirit, I`d like to wish you all a happy day. Don`t forget that if nobody out there actually loves you at the moment, plenty of people like you - or in the worst case they presumably tolerate you, which is a start !

In the middle of the lake is the rock that people jump off of in warm weather. Usually, my friends and I swim out to it and spend hours on the rock.

We'll be camping a few miles into the woods in our campsite. Really pumped!

Who needs a Valentine when you've got camping? :)
