I don't mind people who buy them from the causes, like the livestrong bands my brother actually bought it when he went to the tour de france with lance armstrong racing, we ordered our make poverty history bands from the website. But it's just so unfair on the causes when some one goes and buys a job lot of the bands flogging them off on ebay and causing the charity to only recieve half the money it could have if the people had just bothered to order them from there site or buy them in the shop.

Exactly, people buying them for the causes is obviously great. The original purpose of them was for good causes, whether they would have helped with anything or not is a different story. But the fact that people buy anti-bullying bands purely for fashion, and bully people while wearing them just sickens me. And the fact that people on ebay are making money FOR THEMSELVES out of people who have trouble finding food, water, and shelter. Its horrible, I hate what those bands have turned into.

I suppose it's a mixed blessing, the bands cost little to make, make the charities money, raise awareness but the fact that it's fashionable means that although they sell more than they would have people take advantage and reproduce, human greed defeats any kind of morals these people have

I care why they buy them. I think its great that the money is going to charity, of course, but the fact that that these people are turning poverty into a fashion statement annyos me to no end. Doesnt that bother you? Its worse with the racism and bullying ones I think, I mean some of the people I see wearing them now have put so many people through so much **** in earlier years. Oh well, I guess thats human nature for you.

basically, i look at it in its most basic form. if its becoming a fashion statement its becoming more popular, the higher the popularity the more are bought thus the more money made which actually goes to aid the countries. people who buy them as fashion accesories arent worth thinking about. id rather their more popular and more money is given to the charity then it being a small cult of devotees though no money is given to charity.

Yeah youre right, I know... I do think its great that more money is being made, but the people that do it for fashion really do get under my skin. I just dont understand how they can wear them and not care what its for... But theres nowt I can do about it I guess, may as well just let it go.
