lol...ahh yes another fan. At any rate I just cant fathom country being so popular where your from. Where im at country music is...ugh like The Gospel? Anyway im guilty of liking it as well..i was raised hearing it. But then...there was Hendrix...(yes he had already came and went) but once the discovery was made.

And of course there was all kinds of other music once I moved and actually was introduced to civilazation.

most of the younger Chinese generation generally hate country, cept for Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum

but people my age are knee-deep into it - I like me some Cash, Williams Snr., Merle, Waylon, Loretta

I really try not to like country but its too late..its a part of me. Check out this song tell me what ya think..its one of the few newer soongs thats actually ok

^^the voice's great and the mleody's quite good

i usually like mid-tempo to fast songs, with a lot of things going in the background, though, not really ballads, unless you're talking Townes Van Zandt's kind of melancholic depressing dirges

oh I wanted to mention this in another thread but rock and roll wouldn't have lost anything if Hendrix was never heard of. Sure, he was great and all but rock would still be the same with or without his presence.
