Okay the history of this starts with some federal money that was given to our town to build it up right? they went ahead and gave it to a developer that half built the shit and tried to run away with the rest of the money. We ended up suing him and getting the money back. Now, that the money has come back of course it is less than the original amount that was given out in the first place but the city manager and the guy in charge in city planning and development are trying to say that the money can't be used for a program that my group is trying to push through because the money is being used to pay back some loan. Okay, I understand that but not ALL of the money needs to be used for that and the fact that they won't go into detail about how much is really left and what else the money is being spent on is shady as fuck. Our city is really in a budget crisis but those motherfucking police just got suped up new cruisers and shit. Some of their cars looks like those fucking police cars that you see in the New Need for Speed game where you can play as the cops. They have like dodge challengers and shit. I'm like wtf!?!?!

The program that we are trying to get funded is to help the average joe on the street get a motherfucking job. What the program does is bridge the huge gaps between existing programs that are around but they aren't helping because some people don't know about it and they don't have the resources to help employ the people on the lists that they have. If they had one central point where all the information was networked then they could pool all of their resources and put loads of people to work.

my city was the number 1 city nationwide in 1950 something....they won an award for it and people were proud to live here.

Now, it's run down a bit because of corrupt politics.

There are beautiful historic areas but with the level of corruption it's hard to see the beauty in the city. The city manager is an idiot though. I had a meeting with him Thursday and the easiest way for our city to get more revenue is to create a tour and get tourism up. There are many sites of historic value in this city that aren't being utilize but on the other hand he's whining about limited funds.

It was inquiring as to how you learned and who your influences were. Also I posted a vid of a great Blues teacher if i say so myself. His lessons are in depth and very detailed. Makes learning all the different aspects of not just Blues but guitar in general very easy. Just something I thought Blues and guitar enthuisists would enjoy. He can be comical as well in his vids.

The vid I posted is just to show the dude knows what he is doing. He has many helpful instructional how too's for guitar. Maybe others will find him helpful and make their guitar playing a little more tasty. He has quite a few good pointers on how to spice up your play.
