hey, GB, remember that little console war I had?
I'd post that here if it wasn't against the e-rules But for those who weren't there: I posted a harmless statement on my facebook "The Ps3 is better than the xbox" and some kid I know who doesn't know the first thing about consoles starts badmouthing LittleBigPlanet and praising those stupid FPS games. I actually posten the statement to cause an argument, but it went horribly wrong because I wanted an INTELLIGENT argument with somebody who also has all three consoles and has played them to an extent. Unfortunately, he wasn't the most intellectual, so we trolled the **** out of him. it was good. |

U have only just realised that the human race is a fuck up?
We might have the most sophisticated brains in nature but they are quite possibly the most stupid.

My main beef with humanity is the inability of so many people to detect sarcasm. I just can't stand it when people can't.
I also found it unnerving that so many people were so quick to forgive Michael Vick. The dude dominated Pro Bowl voting (he was good this season, but had way more votes than other more deserving players). This came to a head at the Pro Bowl when Tony Siragusa called Michael Vick's re-emergence this season a "feel good story". Ugh... |

Haha, I've known that for a long time now.
I'm actually surprised there's still people 'finding out'. Optimists

C'mon man, there's no need to be so cynical. Humans are capable of some abslutely ****ed up things yes, but I truly believe that most people are good at heart, to (sort of) quote Anne Frank. You can't control how people treat you in life, but you sure as hell can control how you feel about it. To me, even in the darkest situations, there are always silver linings.

so... a website with the retail equivalent of crank calling someone to ask them if their refrigerator is running is the epitome of human stupidity? i'm disappointed in you GB but i still think you're cool.
you wanted links to serious examples of human stupidity. the girl throwing puppies in the river, i'd argue against being stupid. reprehensible to the vast majority of modern / westernized views? absolutely. but that doesn't mean she realized the severity or ramifications of her actions. cases like this one on the other hand... especially with how frequent they're becoming... this is a disturbing trend. Teen's false rape claim upsets neighbours - Crime - Canoe.ca or even better... this class act CBC News - Toronto - Cancer faker pleads guilty stupid people being desperate for attention. |
