If you're a fan of fine smelling things then I'm sure you'd dig it as well. It's actually kind of interesting how they go about the process of making perfumes in this movie, whether it's all fictional or not.

I have a few "quirks".
  1. Whenever I close a door I have to double check whether or not its closed.
  2. When I finish a cigerette I have to make sure it's out usually by putting it out with my foot or extinguishing it.
  3. Making sound effects while playing games (occurs more when in the right state of mind).

Yeah, I'm nuts.

Yeah bruh.
Man, you need to get down on some interweb knowledge... stream it free here: Watch Perfume: The Story of a Murderer online - Watch Movies Online, Full Movies

Choose the first Putlocker link. That's the one I watched. DVDrip. When the player loads up, press play, then pause for about 5 minutes or so, so it can buffer, then hit play and fullscreen it with the little box on the right hand side of the volume slider. Enjoy.

Use that letmewatchthis site for any other movie you want to watch. When choosing which link to watch for a particular movie, go by the ratings (except for the sponsored link). You may have to experiment here and there, but it's easier than going out and renting a movie. And it's free.

P.S.
I'm assuming you have at least a high-speed DSL internet connection. If so, you shouldn't have any issues with streaming. Cable connections are probably better, but the servers hosting streaming movies cap their bandwidth anyway, so you're not likely to be limited by anything but the movie server itself.

Yeah I'd be very much interested in seeing that aspect of it. They pretty much come up with a concept for a scent, and then go from there. They take a variety of notes (like rose or basil) or accords (bundles of notes to create a specific scent, like "ocean air" or "fresh grass).

Then they take specific amounts of whatever concentrated essences they decide work together, and then dilute it with alcohol. Niche perfumers will tend to use more natural ingredients, because it will create a higher quality fragrance. Big designer houses could frankly care less. They don't care what it smells like. Almost like those pop musicians who will sing whatever as long as it will sell records; make the scent smell good, and make sure we sell a lot of it. On the other hand, you have the good ol' niche side of things. They will create whatever they damn well please. Serge Lutens just came out with a fragrance "Jeux de Peau" based off his fond memories of buttered toast as a kid. I haven't tried it, but I very much want to. A sample is only 3$ plus whatever shipping is, so I think I will!

EDIT: And thanks be to you Freebase! I'll definitely be checking it out. And yes, I do have DSL thankfully!

I saw it. I liked it.

Just loved it for its quirky gory bits, really. The love/romance I can do without.

I thought that movie was cheesy and almost Disney even when it first came out.

Perfume, on the other hand, is so not Disney-ish.

Whenever I close a door I turn the handle/knob to kind of "fit in in" as I shut it.

Number obsessions are fascinating. I think most people have favourite numbers and stuff. I don't like 3 or 7 much, but together they're ok. 10 and 21. Also 13 is good. I hate 23, 99.
