If you see me in public there is a 99% chance I will have a toothpick in my mouth (save the small dick/gay jokes ). I just gotta have something in my mouth. If I'm lounging, it's tobacco. If I'm out anywhere, i always have a toothpick in. I feel less nervous with a toothpick in as strange as that sounds.

Worse for me, I find myself constantly chewing on things. I've honestly had situations where I'd buy a packet of pens, and by the end of the week they'd all be chewed through, and I had to buy more.

Al Pacino = God

Yep I know where you are comin from. That's why i have two large boxes of toothpicks on my desk and keep some in my wallet. Cause i was chewing all my pens and pencils. I went through high school never having an eraser, I would chew them to bits. Straws and plastic bottles caps are also things of choice to chew on.

I have a lot of nervous quirks. Anyone else here shake their legs? My brother and I both do. I don't notice it usually, but my legs are always bouncing up and down, usually just one of them. I always get told to stop at dinners cause it shakes the table.

Oh yes. I do that all the time. I really need to go to the doctor because I KNOW I have something. I'm the epitome of high strung. When I was younger, I couldn't even sit down. But yes, here's some of mine:

Lately, when the middle of the sentence, I'll almost get bored of what I'm saying. I'll just stop. "Well I was outside and then ehh.. yeah I don't know." Or I'll say something that makes sense to me, because I already thought about it, but not at all to anyone else.

Everything for me is situational. I could care less if it's rainy outside and miserable, as long as everything is quiet and calm. Like if I had work, and it was somewhat slow and nothing went wrong, that'd be perfect. If I went out with one of my friends and hung out, listening to music, that just seems all wrong.

I have very specific images that I love and hate. One that I REALLY hate is of the local K-Mart. It's Sunday, looking at action figures, and it's overcast. HORRIBLE. On the other hand, it's Friday. Small city. There's a good amount of people, but it's not crowded. Clock tower, orange and cherry blossoms, old buildings, cobblestone streets, local bakery, orange street lights. It sort of blurs the line between dark/eerie, and warm/comforting. AMAZING. One I've had since I was younger was the view of a mall. It's near the beach, it has a lot of glass, it's sunny, it's warm. I desperately hoped to find a mall like it, but I doubt it exists. That, and dreams always cast weird feelings on places that can never be recreated in real life.

I enjoy fragrances.

I love going out to eat. Especially if it's a small place that I've never heard of, in a place I'd never been to. When I have new things to look at, and new food to eat, it's like brain porn. If I had decided to wear a new fragrance (knowing me, I would intentionally do so), it'd be like a movie in 4D.

I tend to watch movies only once.

I really don't listen to music at home that much. Usually I listen to new stuff, then put whatever I like on my iPhone. I love listening to music in the car more than anything.

I have a weird fascination with sadness.

I always feel like people I meet are so transparent. I've never really met anyone interesting before. I feel so cheated. And yet, I'm not sure 2 intensely unique people would really be compatible.

I don't know what you just said.

Me too. I just feel like I have to do it. It makes playing piano a lot harder though, because I do it a bit when using the pedals.

I always have to have something to chew on, especially in class. Usually it's gum, but if I don't have any I chew on my pens or markers.

I also can't sit still. I was such a nuisance in school because I would always be getting up. I don't get out of my seat so much now but I squirm around a hell of a lot.

I have to wipe down the steering wheel in my car before I drive it, even though I'm the only person who uses it. Likewise for the keys on my piano.

The volume on the TV needs to be set on an even number.

The money in my wallet needs to be in order, smaller bills to larger bills. It helps that each denomination has it's own colour - makes it that much easier to know exactly how much I have without taking it out to count.

If one of my arms or legs is hanging out of the blankets on the bed, I feel very uncomfortable. Same if the sheets or blanket come off - I will actually wake up and fix it.

I have to turn off all electronic devices when I leave a room. That includes lights and ceiling fans.

I always check if the stove and toaster oven are off before I leave the kitchen (even if I just turned them off). I think that goes back to when I was a kid and my mom left the oven on by mistake - there was a cake or something in there and the whole thing caught fire.

Haha, I do the exact same thing! They're all the same color so it doesn't help me count but it does prevent me from giving a cashier a large bill by accident because it was mixed in with a bunch of ones or whatever.

I used to do that but I got out of that habit and don't do it anymore

I can't stand hair touching my nose. One reason I have a ponytail.

Ah, another one. I hate it when people misspell the word 'sowieso'.
It's a German word, but pretty common here (same goes for überhaupt).
The word means
so-or-so.
As in: So is the same as so, it doesn't matter.
The best translation would be "it'll work, one way or the other' or 'I don't like you eitherway'.
Eitherway, it's created out of three words. "so", "wie" and "so".
The word is 'sowieso'. But it often goes horribly wrong
zowiezo
zowizo
sowiso
sowizo
zowiso
sowiezo
zowieso
so wi zo

Reminds me of something.
Someone spelled the word 'Equalizer' as 'egel ijzer'.
Which is rather funny. Egel = Hedgehog. IJzer = Iron.
Hedgehog Iron instead of equalizer. Strange...

When seeing something traumatic on TV, or in real life. And especially when reflecting on another's predicament.
Directly following the moment of insight, or reality overload (for want of a better term) I experience a strange sensation on the right side of my brain which can be only described as a brief sensation of bubbly fluid, or bubbles popping?
Hard to describe. I'd be interested if anyone here has the same experience.
Never met anyone who has, yet...
