Default Anyone shop at Wet Seal stores?....A little truth for thought.

If you haven't been informed already, wet seal has been a huge target for animal activists because of the sales of fur. Wet seal has not only been attacked by every-day animal rights activists, but also musicians, and celebrities.

So what's the deal with Wet Seal???? In various Wet Seal stores across the country/ world, 100% fur coats made from racoon, and rabbit are for sale. So what??? These animals are killed in such ways like breaking their necks, and electrocuting them anally....sounds funny...but it's actually really disgusting.

To learn more about the distastful slaughers at Wet Seal, go here:

Go here to learn about the Chinese fur farms, and the truth about fur.

Recently, the guys from the band The Used wrote a letter to Wet Seal to let them know how they feel about this inhumane fashion. Go here to check it out:

P.S. I am putting this information out here because it takes people like YOU to make a difference.

Yes. In regards to promoting bands and such, as part of the street team, they ask that we include specific links. My signature includes one of my favorite sources.

I suggest you check out these websites:
-Animal Abuse
http://www.farmsanctuary.org/
http://www.gourmetcruelty.com/
http://www.sierraclub.org/factoryfarms/
http://www.veganoutreach.org
http://www.cok.net/
http://www.chickenindustry.com/
http://www.factoryfarming.com/
http://www.psyeta.org/
http://www.americanhumane.org/site/P...ef_anticruelty

P.S. If you do a search, you will be able to find the animal cruelty statutes of your state.
For Example, here is Pennsylvania's statutes:

-Health related

http://www.eatright.org/Member/Polic...ndex_21026.cfm
http://www.veganheath.org
http://www.vrg.org/index.htm
http://www.vegnews.com/
http://www.vegetariantimes.com/
http://www.gnc.com/Default.aspx?lang=en(Do a search to find substantial information on vegetarian/vegan health)

Also, Read "Animal Liberation" by Peter Singer. This book includes an extensive philosophical approach to all areas of animal rights. You may be able to find it at a library. Here's what it looks like:

P.S. Dear All_Nite_Dinah, I noticed you are from Wisconsin, so I found this well established animal rights group from your state =)

i don't promote this in any way obviously......but look at it this way....cows don't die in ecstacy ya know...people still eat hamburgers and wear shoes carved from the finest daisy's in the land... you dont see protesters about that so much do you, its all conditional.

Correct. And while you may not know about Wet Seal, you may or may not know about Aulstrialia's wool industry, and the ongoing campaign against it. Clothing lines such as Abercrombie & Fitch, J.Crew, and New Look support the boycott against the wool industry, and have created good examples for the campaign.

This is bull**** though really, whichever way you look at it, you're wearing cows on your feet or leather or some form of animal. Why not just boycott every type of animal clothing huh? Put a stop to hamburgers, pork chops, sausages while were at it too? thought not.
