How are you even alive?

To be honest, I don't know. Every time I take the bins out I **** myself.

Nah, it's really fairly densely populated, not remote at all so it's ok! But yeah totally get what you mean, I do freak out at times.

Something that sort of irritated me a little and I don't know why:

The other day, this girl I know re-posted this picture on Facebook like "I wonder what would happen if Disney had a throwback day" or whatever, and there were images on the pic from a bunch of live-action shows that must've been around circa 2003-2007 (I gathered this only from the Hannah Montana thing - my cousin was obsessed with Miley in winter of '08 for some ridiculous reason - we don't talk) and here were my unshared thoughts:
  • What the hell did the OP mean by "throwback?"
  • Are you 12?
  • When I think of old school Disney channel, I think of Rescue Rangers, The Little Mermaid, Duck Tales, Care Bears, (1st gen) My Little Pony, etc. From time to time there were depression-era Mickey Mouse cartoons, mostly later in the evening. (I think one of the only live-action shows on the channel at the time was Baby Sitters Club.)
  • If I mentioned any of the above on that image, 90% of the commenters would have no clue.

Here's some fond memories:

(Do TV channels even have bumpers anymore?)

You must not hang out much online besides Musicbanter.

ThrowBack Thursdays is a thing lately where people post older pics of themselves. It doesn't matter how old it is.

2003 is still old in comparison to 2014. It doesn't matter how far you go back. Just because you need a cane now and can remember when the Disney Channel had different programming doesn't invalidate their opinions.

Chillax some?

I have a weird brain that automatically thinks that 10 years ago it was 1995.

(And I don't know why.)

Does anybody else get that?

Not that you probably haven't seen that, but I felt it was my duty to post it.

Watch a movie from 95 and see how dated it looks. I have seen some movies that look a bit grainy from the 90s which is weird because I associate that look with movies for the 70s but it serves as a reminder that the 90s was almost 20 years ago.

Oh.... oh my god. I love the production quality of films from the 1970s and 80s but it didn't even occur to me until now that those from the 1990s probably look the same. What the hell.

Thats not even remotely true. Anything from the 70's and 80's has been converted from vhs to the digital format. The digital format became a staple in the 90's. The only option for digital format in the 80's was laser disc and I knew one person who owned one.
